How do you pronounce “Revo”?
Revo is said with a small “e,” like “rev your engine” or “revolution” or “revelry.”
What does “Revo” mean?
Our name comes from the Latin word revolvere, which means “To revolve or roll forward. Turn around or move around a point. To change, switch direction, bend around.” You see this meaning in words like “revolt” and “revolution.” Revo wants to radically change how people pay taxes.
Are Revo staff CPAs?
Many on staff, including our primary partners, Mike Pine and Kevin Schneider, are Certified Public Accountants. All staff member are highly trained and specialized tax professionals. We are governed by the same ethics and code of conduct as CPAs.
How long has Revo been around?
Revo co-founder Mike Pine earned his CPA in 2000 and began his career in “Big 4” and large, regional tax firms. After seeing how most CPAs treat their clients, he wanted to provide more effective, comprehensive, and personalized services. So, in 2008, he founded his own firm, Pine & Co, CPAs. Kevin Schneider earned his CPA in 2006 and joined Pine & Co in 2018. Kevin has expertly led Pine’s team of tax professionals and develops bold and successful strategies for clients. In 2024, Mike, Kevin, and the Pine & Co team rebranded the firm as “Revo.”
