Rarely. However, the scope of our services might change to reflect your financial reality. You may not need an aggressive tax strategy every year. Some years, you’ll be in “action mode,” and you’ll benefit from an intensive, comprehensive tax plan. But that might be followed by a year or two that’s more “maintenance mode,” where you just need high-quality tax preparation. Together, we’ll determine the level of service you need based on your financial horizon.
Many on staff, including our primary partners, Mike Pine and Kevin Schneider, are Certified Public Accountants. Until 2024, Revo operated under the name “Pine & Company, CPAs.” We love accountants and couldn’t do our job well without them, but the Revo team is so much more than just CPAs.
Rarely. Our vision is to help you build your wealth by paying less in taxes. We want to focus our entire energy towards tax planning and strategizing with you to help you achieve your financial goals. But we can put you in touch with good bookkeepers and accountants.
No. Your plan won’t look exactly like anyone else’s plan. Are some of our recommendations similar? Yes, because the tax code applies to everyone. But your investment opportunities, risk tolerance, disposable income, lifestyle, and 5–10-year vision is unique to you, and so is your plan.
Meeting frequency depends in part on the steps in your plan. Meetings could happen yearly, quarterly, monthly (though that’s pretty rare), or clustered around a specific action you’re taking. Meetings impact your invoice, so we try to meet only as needed — keeping that money in your pocket, too.
Yes, if we created your tax plan and prepared your returns. If you receive an IRS notification or an audit, you can hire us to handle the paperwork, the questions, and the scrutiny. Remember, the IRS isn’t the enemy and they don’t intimidate us; they just may not know the code as well as we do. We’ve got your back (pocket)!
