Multiple opportunities available at the Staff and Senior levels!
Potential hybrid (in-person and remote) opportunity for the right, local candidate! We will want you to be in the office full-time initially for training and so you can get to know our team. Once you understand our processes and systems, and integrate with the team, you can work a hybrid schedule where you come into the office 1-2 days a week.
Do you like asking good questions so you can make insightful recommendations? Do you like chasing down missing pieces in order to tie up loose ends? Do you like explaining complex ideas in simple, positive ways? Are you a self-starter? Do you have one or more years of recent public accounting experience?
Our growing company is hiring Tax Professionals at the Associate and Senior levels. We’re interested in anyone who has held a position with any of these titles:
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
- Staff Accountant
- Staff Associate
- Senior Accountant
- Senior Tax Associate
- Tax Accountant
- Tax Associate
- Tax Manager
- Tax Staff Accountant
- Tax Supervisor
At Revo Taxpayer Advocacy, we help our clients pay only the taxes they’re legally obligated to pay and not a penny more. As part of your job, you will:
- Help people maximize their wealth by minimizing their taxes
- Prepare and/or review tax returns including individual, corporate, and partnership returns for clients in a variety of industries
- Assist in managing extensions
- Complete tax research and planning
- Identify and resolve tax issues
- Develop and cultivate professional client relationships
- Become an expert in 99.5% of the tax code, in addition to the .5% that relates to the actual levying of taxes
- Work directly with senior management
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements
That sounds like a lot (and it is), but you won’t be expected to do all of that right away. You will be surrounded by a team that will help you achieve these skills. Everyone at Revo has an open-door policy and a willingness to help. You’ll be expected to ask questions and acquire new skills. Having a curious and “can-do” mindset is how we have grown the business by double-digit percentages every year.
Opportunity for Partner Status
We’re growing rapidly, and that creates partnership opportunities. If your goal is to become partner, we will develop a career plan that sets you on that path. If management isn’t your goal, that’s fine, too. We’ll develop a career plan that matches your goals.
The people who love this job and do well in this position:
Serve Gladly Your success depends on you putting in extra effort to serve our clients well. “Extra effort” does not automatically mean extra hours. There’s a lot of thinking, strategy, and communication built into our process. Our clients pay a premium for the services we provide, and we work hard to make sure they’re incredibly happy.
Learn Constantly You deserve incredible training and resources (the kind we always wanted from our employers). But we don’t train everyone to be interchangeable. Every tax professional has unique passions and skills. We want to leverage your strengths and offset any weaknesses with other people. We will support your drive to achieve your potential.
Work Dependably You are a professional, and we’ll treat you like one. That means, when you say you’re going to do something, we expect you to do it. We won’t babysit or hold your feet to the fire so long as you’re doing the job you agreed to do. Will we support you? Absolutely. Can you ask for help? Yes. Will we micromanage or nag? No.
Grind Seasonally. As a tax professional, you know there are busy times of year. During tax seasons, the expectation is that everyone will work 50 hours a week. No one is expected to work more than 50 hours a week during peak seasons (though you can work more if you choose). We reward your hard work with bonuses. Ask us about tax-time expectations and payments during your interview so we share a clear understanding.
Communicate Honestly Sometimes a case gets complicated or life happens. We need you to say, “Hey, this is too much.” Or, “Something’s come up in my family.” Or “I need help with this one.” We are good at solving problems when we’re made aware of them.
Education, Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required
- Minimum one tax season experience is required
- Strong experience with a variety of tax operations and ability to drive process improvements is required
- Strong communication, organizational, analytical, client service, presentation and PC skills including Microsoft Office and tax software proficiency is required
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment is required
- CCH Axcess software proficiency is a plus
- SurePrep software proficiency is a plus
- CPA is a plus

Opportunities to stretch and grow. Professional training is emphasized and personal development is always a priority — including for the leadership team. We use what we learn to deliver amazing results for our clients (and our relationships).
Muhammad describes this perfectly: “I was bored in my old job as there wasn’t much to learn, and it seemed like the same thing day after day. At Revo, I get to learn new things, which is building my confidence and honing my abilities. I’m so happy to have found a company that encourages my growth!”
A friendly and collaborative office environment. We’ve had jobs where we had to deal with toxic bosses, crushing to-do lists, office politics… That’s not what it’s like at Revo. We’ve built the company that we want to work for: growing, performance-driven, and supportive. Every employee is encouraged to contribute to our processes, plans, and culture.
Stephen experienced a big shift in company culture when starting at Revo: “I was so burned out in my previous job because the owner didn’t seem to care about me or my growth. Now, I wake up excited every morning because I’m part of a team that cares about our clients and about each other. I couldn’t ask for better people to work for and with!”
